Springtime Transpo Talk Exclusive: 2021 Federal Policy Reset
Transpo Talk Exclusives are a time to connect with your public sector transportation colleagues from across the globe about the most pressing mobility issues.

Join us for a discussion with Georgia Gann Dormann, Associate Manager of Government Relations for the Metropolitan Transportation Commission and the Association of Bay Area Governments, and Scott Bogren, Executive Director of Community Transportation Association of America on common challenges agencies will face as they look to build back service, and the types of funding support to expect (and not to expect). The discussion will be led by Transpo Talk member Marcela Moreno, former planner at City of Asheville and now Transit Technologist at CTAA.

This session will kick off a new year of Transpo Talk Exclusives, so we have carved out some time for you to connect with your peers and share tips and tricks you’re learning on the ground as we face this unprecedented mobility thaw.

What you will learn:

• Expressed needs from transportation agencies across the United States, and what funding support to expect.
• Update on the administration’s agenda, the status of the reauthorization bill, infrastructure bill and $25 million in American Rescue Plan Act funding set aside for transit planning.
• What your peers are doing to anticipate and deliver service during this period of mobility re-growth.
